Regular Friday evening meal π definitely a good place to eat. Food excellent and service could not be any better. The staff are friendly and their service excellent
We had a Christmas lunch meal on 16th December 2023.|As usual everything was fantastic.|We both had the Soup Turkey dinner and Christmas pudding.|Thanks go to Lorraine and her brilliant staff especially Bekky Charlotte and a gentleman who served us too.|
Quaint pub, a couple of snugs, dining area and also a meeting room.
Staff polite, civil, and friendly.
Lots of character in the pub with low oak beams, etc.
Good selection of beers and lagers at reasonable prices.
Not eaten at the Royal Oak, but the menu is very appealing, and meals when served, look plentiful and well presented.
Plenty of bench seating at the front to watch the world go by whilst you have a drink.
If you're in the Garstang area, it's well worth a visit. ππΌππΌ
Had a lovely lunch, good home cooked food, been a few times, never been disappointed.
Had a lovely tasty dinner. Nice bar area with comfy chairs. Great choices on the menu, I could have had loads to eat off their menu π. The white wine however only had two to choose from but didn't affect me! Not very busy but it was Monday night. Will definitely go back.
Popped in for a beer, and as ever was served a well kept pint of Robinsons. Lovely bar, always a good buzz with lots of local customers.
Fantastic meal which we ordered 15 mins before service due to end. Good portion sizes and definitely cooked fresh to order. Staff were very pleasant and looked after us well.
Stopped in for an early Friday evening meal. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely warm atmosphere, good real ale selection (I recommend the Robinson's bitter). The meal was freshly cooked, well presented and the beef casserole was a delight and the vegetables fresh and tasty. Great to find a gem of a pub/hotel - just as is should be.
